BA-CFA Sunday Message for March 10, 2019

March 10, 2019

Dear Bulldog Families,

If you have not done so already, make sure to set your clocks ahead one hour.  Make sure to adjust any alarms in order to arrive on time to school.

Green Pick Up Cards

If you need a new or extra card, send a note in with your child or stop by the main office.  This helps us keep our traffic line flowing.

Ident-a-kid Check-In System – Upgrade

We upgraded our Ident- A – Kid System.  The system is easier to use and more user-friendly.  However, all visitors must bring an ID to campus for each campus visit.  Please allow a few extra minutes when visiting campus.

NC School Hero

I nominated Charlotte Shackleford for NC School Hero.  If she wins, they award 10,000 to the school.  The final nomination comes from the most votes.  Everyone can vote daily.

March Madness College Kickoff

Don’t forget to turn in your college posters for judging on Thursday.  Friday, March 15th is a collegiate dress down day to celebrate college awareness week.  Wear your favorite college colors, jersey, or shirt to celebrate life-long learning.

Pi Day–3.14

On Thursday, March 14, we will be celebrating Pi Day. A flyer went home last week about the contests the students may enter for a chance to throw a pie in a teacher’s face! More information is available on Mrs. Hargis’s website. At 2:15 pm on Thursday, login into Facebook to watch our live feed to show off the talents of our winners as well as watching them throw the pies.

All students will get a chance to celebrate math by eating a piece of pie.  Please consider donating a pie to this unique celebration. Pies may be dropped off in the morning or any time before noon. We will also need volunteers to help cut and deliver pie. If you are interested in volunteering, please be here by 1:00 pm. Contact Mrs. Hargis at with questions.

Thanks for your help to celebrate Pi Day!

March is Women’s History Month.  I challenge all Bulldogs to engage in a task that will enhance their understanding of Women’s History.  Read a book, visit a museum, or see a movie specifically geared towards Women’s History and you can earn a dress down pass.  Complete details are posted on my webpage.
