Sunday Message for February 3, 2019

February 3, 2019

Dear Bulldog Families,

Congratulations to both our basketball teams on great seasons.  Our girls’ team lost a hard fought semi-final game on Friday and our boys’ team capped off a perfect season, 19-0, as tournament champions.  This was the first undefeated season in our school history in any sport.  Go Bulldogs!

Lost and Found

Lost and found is filling up quickly. If your child is missing an item, please stop by our lost and found on the blue hallway.

STEAM Program Update

BA has received a telescope through the generous donation of Phil Rosenberg’s One Hundred Telescopes project. Mr. Rosenberg is an astronomer, and he created the One Hundred Telescope project to get telescopes into schools, so children would have greater access to them. He donated a Celestron Nexstar 4SE, which is a computerized telescope. The science teachers and STEAM will be using this telescope to enhance the study of astronomy with our students.  We are excited about this opportunity for our students.

Capital Campaign

We are halfway to our $20,000.00 goal.  Help us get the outdoor pavilion built by contributing to our capital campaign.  If each family contributes just $50.00, we will reach our goal of expanding our space and getting our students outside.

February Beta Club Candy Grams

February 5th through the 13th, Beta Club will be selling candy grams for $1 each.  Funds raised go to support Beta Club Activities.

Yearbook

Yearbook season is in full swing! We will be placing our final order the last week of February so now is the time. Please follow the link below to the Jostens website to personalize your student’s book of memories.

Order your yearbook here.

In addition, we have limited advertisement space available for purchase. With several different options, you can send that special shout out to your student to let them know how proud you are of them, or send us a business card and we will display your business for all our Bulldog families to see. For those wishing to purchase a full-page ad for $100, not only will that include a copy of our fabulous yearbook, we will also list you as a sponsor for our extremely anticipated BA Spring Talent Show! What an amazing way to show your support! Please follow the link to our Google Form to reserve your space today! For any questions or concerns, please contact the yearbook at yearbook@brevardacademy.school.
