Athletic Awards Banquet

We will hold our annual Athletic Awards Banquet on May 29 at 5:00 pm in the gym.
5th-8th Grade Concert

The 5th-8th grade concert will be held on May 24 from 5:30-6:30 pm.
Be On Time for Testing

As you know, the end of the year also includes testing in grades 3-8.  In an effort to help put a positive spin on testing, we are instituting the “On Time to Test” contest to help get all students in grade 3-8 to school on time and with a protein packed breakfast in their bellies.
May 22 – 3-8th grade ELA Testing

May 23 – 3-8th grade MATH Testing
Be On Time to Test Rules (May 18-May 23)–Win a trip to the Forest and Jets Pizza

Every 3rd-8th grade student who is in class at 7:50 am will earn a ticket on each testing day.
Every 3rd-8th grade student who comes to school with a note from a parent stating they had a protein-packed breakfast will earn a ticket on each testing day.
At the end of testing on May 23, we will draw one student from each tested homeroom in grades 3-8.
Winning students will win a trip to the forest and Jets Pizza for lunch on May 25 at 11:30.

We had perfect attendance on Friday for our science testing.  Way to go 5th and 8th grade!

Dress Code

Please make sure that all students are following the dress code.  As the weather gets warmer, shorts, socks, and skirts need to be the appropriate length and color.  Shoes need closed toes and closed heels in order to keep feet safe while outside.

Water Bottles

A hydrated student is a healthy student.  Please make sure to send in a water bottle each day to help our students learn.  During EOG testing, metal water bottles will not be permitted in the classroom.

Lost and Found

Our lost and found has grown.  Before the end of the year, please make sure that you have visited the lost and found to claim any missing items.

Transportation Changes

Please send transportation changes for your children in each morning in order to make certain that we are able to safely get your child.

After School Payments

A huge thank you to those families who have paid their After School costs on time. If you still have an outstanding balance you will be receiving your invoice for 2017/2018 by Tuesday May 21,2018. Please be sure to pay promptly.
